GitHub connection

Connect repositories and route feedback to issues without personal tokens

Sign-in and repository access are separate

GitHub sign-in confirms who you are. It does not grant Form Relay access to a repository. You choose repository access later by installing the Form Relay GitHub App.

Connect an account

  1. Open Integrations, then GitHub.
  2. Click Connect GitHub.
  3. Choose a personal account or organization.
  4. Grant access to all repositories or only the repositories you want.
  5. Return to Form Relay and choose the repository in an automation.

Form Relay stores the installation id and revokes the temporary GitHub user token after setup. Automation runs create a short-lived installation token only when work is due.

Change or remove access

Use GitHub's installation settings to add or remove repositories. If the app is suspended, removed, or loses access to an automation's repository, Form Relay disables the affected automation instead of retrying with stale access.
